Dr Tim McClure, Founder / Senior Pastor

Dr Tim McClure is happily married to his wife Jenny for 39 years, proud father of three children; Chanda, Tim Jr, Aleena and very excited to be called “GP” by his three grand children; Dylan, Aurora and Amiley.  Dr McClure moved to Melbourne, FL in 1980 and founded Promiseland Church where he built a 26,000 square feet complex of buildings on 6 acres of property. During these decades, Dr McClure has baptized over 3800 people and has seen more than 5000 unsaved people to give their heart to Christ.

Dr McClure holds a BA in Pastoral Administration from Spirit & Truth College, MS in Psychology from South Hampton University, Doctorate of Divinity and Ph D Psychology from St Thomas College.

Dr McClure is an author, spiritual and motivational speaker who has traveled to over 30 countries. Dr McClure is a Biblical Entrepreneur who has helped people start and succeed businesses of all kinds.  Dr McClure is a professional relationship specialist and has counseled 1000’s over the past three decades.

Jenny McClure

Jenny was born in Maryland where she and Dr McClure grew up and married. Pastor Jenny is known around the world as the most professional host and the purest Christian anyone can know. Pastor Jenny holds a degree in business administration and events consultant. Jenny has worked along side of her husband, Dr McClure their entire married and ministry life. Pastor Jenny is a gifted administrator and events coordinator at Promiseland. Pastor Jenny works very closely with the Children’s ministry at PLC. Tim McClure Jr

Pastor Tim Jr is Dr McClure’s son and has been helping his dad in work and ministry his whole life. Tim Jr is a professional drummer and has played for PLC for more than 20 years. He has served as Youth Pastor, College / Career and various ministries at PLC. Tim Jr preached his first sermon when he was just 11 years old. Tim Jr helps his dad with ministering and other associate duties. Tim Jr holds a degree in Computer networking from Keiser University and a BA in Pastorial Administration from Truth University.

 

 

We believe the Bible is given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infallible, and God’s revealed word to man (Ps 68:11; 2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:20-21).

We believe that Scripture teaches that there is only one true God who has manifested Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew 28:19; Col 2:9).

We believe that mankind is born sinful in need of salvation (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Psalm 51:5; Ecclesiastes 7:29; John 6:44; Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 2:14).

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and the son of man, that He came to save man from condemnation of sin by giving his life and offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Luke 7:50, 24:47; Romans 10:13-15; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 2:15; Ephesians 2:8, 9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live an overcoming life (Romans 8:5; Philippians 2:12, 13; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 John 2:29).

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:4).

We believe in water baptism by immersion for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Matt 3:15, Matt. 28:19, Rom 6:3, 1 Peter 3:21).

We believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and all who believe in Jesus (Matthew 24:31-46; Acts 24:15; Revelation 22:11).

We believe in the personal appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; 1 Thes 4:13-18; 1 John 3:2).

We believe in miracles and healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Mark 16:18; James 5:14-16; 1 Peter 2:24).

We believe that discipleship teaching and training through preaching and teaching God’s word is essential in order for a believer to sustain and maintain a successful growing life in Christ (John 8:31, 2 Tim 2:15, Heb 4:12, Col 1:23, 1 Tim 4:16, 2 Tim 3:14-17).
